I’ve had the best weekend catching up with frien

I’ve had the best weekend catching up with friends down the Mornington Peninsula for my husband’s birthday. We stuffed our faces with delicious food, drank gorgeous local wines and laughed until it hurt. Early to bed tonight. I can’t hack the late nights like I used to! What did everyone else get up to?

We sometimes overlook the Mummas when a new baby comes along and shower said baby with oodles of cute stuff. Don’t get me wrong, this is all good but it’s nice to spoil Mum a bit too. The New Mum Care Package has a lavender filled eye pillow from @annasofaustralia for relaxation, yummy lactation cookies from @franjoskitchen and Nursing tea from @maydetea to help support a healthy milk supply. I’ve also popped in a tea infuser so she can brew her tea straight into her favourite cup (or preferably someone can do it for her!) Corporate flowers big and small. On Monday mornings I head into Melbourne’s CBD to add colour and freshness to offices and corporate spaces. I missed this weekly ritual during most of 2020 and am thrilled to be back in full swing. I order a coffee from the same coffee shop each week and even though it had been nearly 10 months since serving me, the staff remembered my order. How good is that?! Love Melbourne 💚🤍

Like the fool I am, I took a little tumble down the steps yesterday. My pride took a big whack but I’ve also gone and sprained my ankle. I’ve been told that once you get to my age you don’t “fall over” you instead “have a fall”. Rude! Anyhoo, I’ll be a bit slow this week while I hobble around.
